Thanks.  I cut the track down to size with a miter saw and a carbide blade.  Cut no problem.

Nice Table..... Question, I noticed you mentioned track lenghts of 31 3/4.....33 3/4......and 24 inches....Im only seeing these track pieces in 33 3/4 lenghts.....did you find different lenghts somewhere or did you cut down the 33 3/4....Thanks, Bll

Oh and the casters are from harbor freight.  They work really well.

The height from the floor to the top is 36 3/4

Whoops the base of the drawer is 45 3/4 by 24.  Sorry about that I put 45 3/4 by 34 up above.

Thanks everyone.   I really didn't expect this table to get the attention it has gotten.  I appreciate all of the feedback.  I usually work on intarsia and smaller projects.  I have only built a few pieces of furniture.  Some cedar chests and a kitchen table.  (Never built the chairs though).

Basically, yes there is a plan for a workbench that kreg has listed.  This is similar.  I also took some ideas from the clamp table that kreg sells.  I really just looked at a lot of pictures here and other places on the web and then built the thing from what I thought would be a good size.  I really didn't have any drawn up plans.

I used 2x4s, 1 sheet of sanded 3/4 plywood, and 1 sheet of melamine.  The measurements of the cuts and table are listed below.  Hope this will be helpful to somebody.

The melamine is top is 57 3/4 x 31 3/4 x 3/4

The sanded plywood top is 60 x 34 x 3/4

I have two clamp traks in the table now and am adding one to go the length of the table.  They will be:

1 at 31 3/4 for the width of the table.  2 for the length, 33 3/4 and 24 inches.  Leaving the area to get the clamps on and off.

The four vertical braces are 31.5 inches tall.

The four horizontal beams on the front and back are 46 3/4.

I then have 4 2x4s for braces on the sides, 6 crossbeams ( 3 under the top, 3 under the bottom shelf, don't know if I needed all of these), and 2 2x4s as the drawer bracket mounts.  All of them are 25 inches long.

The bottom shelf is out of the left over from the sheet of melamine.

The drawer is out of the leftover from the top sheet.  It has a base that is 45 3/4 x 34.  The front and back are 46 3/4 x 6 1/2 x 3/4.  The sides are 22 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 3/4.

The drawer front, side panels, and trim are all from some old cedar planks i had left over from building a few cedar chests.

The handle was one my wife liked and had bought for something but it never got used so it was time for it to get put to work.

I cut the top two pieces and then set them aside.  I cut and put together the front and back sections.  Then I pieced them together with the four support braces.  Next I put in the cross beams.  I cut the bottom shelf and put it in.  Then I figured out the drawer, adding the two 2x4s for the drawer slides to mount to.  Then I did the drawer face, side and rear panels.  Mounted the top (both sheets), then the clamp track.  Finished it with the trim.

I have an old kitchen buffet that is about 30 inches tall x 5ft. long x 33in wide. I have thought of making a clamping surface for it but I felt the table top would be too low and cause lower back fatigue. With this in my head I can a make a riser to mount to the table and put a drawer in between the two surfaces.
