wow you turned your own chess pcs. i dont have a lathe and even if i did i'm not sure i would be able to do it, but making the board and case was pretty straight forward

I just finished turning, using a duplicator a beautiful chess set. Its a job that makes you proud. when your done. Now I just have to put finish and felt on the bottoms. This hinged board looks like a winner. I could buy a finished board for $39 but the satisfaction of making one is it.
