I have built a couple of kit folding adirondack chairs, and they are nice, but I like the look of these that you made.  Are the plans and cut sheets available anywhere on the internet?  Thanks

good point, they are not easy to move under cover or store, hence the flodling ones.

The big problem with the chairs for most people who want one or more is where to put them when your season is over. That is why I like the folding style. I have made love seats out of these plans, and when I learn to up load I will post pictures.

yes, we have a LeeValley store about a mile away and I've looked at the plans there, and may get a set. Not big on the folding model however... must keep the proprieties right? you do know the origin of the chair eh? Quite interesting actually. I may post my 'answer' to the Adirondack, from the West Coast. I have a few designs named after West Coast mountains - comfort of the Adirondack but with West Coast style and flair LOL My next one will be an Adi style but with a higher back. Watch this space.

I enjoy the look of your chairs, Lee Vally has a set of plans that allow for a folding version.

very very nice. Like the wide fan back. They look very sturdy. Good curves for the seat also. Up here in Kanada, they are known a Muskoka chair or 'gin & tonic' chairs becaue once you're in one, you don't want to get up. I'm looking of a design but with longer fan back (higher). Not crazy about cedar also, would use SPF and seal with a stain. I quite like your.

I made two of these chairs this weekend. They are cedar with a satin polyurethane on top. This is my first experience with cedar and I am not a fan of such soft wood. I had to pre drill everything. They came out well. I intend to make two more, a small table and two foot rests.
