Hi Chuck: Regarding plans for the K4 Storage Unit, you can go to Kreg Tool.com....and you may have to start an Account, and one you do, this may make it easier for you to download the plans for this project. As I was new in woodworking, I can't stress enough to need to measure and cut your wooden sections/parts very accurately...ensure the edges are square. Take your time. Today, when I use my K4 setup on this Storage Unit.....I really am glad I made it.....it makes life so much easier. And by the way, the 2 sections of Tracks with the stock support sliding units are the perfect height to match the base of your K4 Master Unit. By placing the Tracks on top of the unit as seen in my photos, you do not have to Router a trench in order to accommodate the Tracks. Please note, that most of the photos also have useful comments to help you should you wish make this project. Overall weight is around 16 lbs. and the unit can also be moved to different locations and can also be placed on the floor to allow for extra room for your stock lengths and is heavy enough to provide support. The Grand Marnier was a nice companion, and I did not rush my project, and enjoyed the process over a few days. Regards, from Western Canada. 'John'
This will probably a good laugh but I downloaded these plans when I first bought Kreg Jig last year. Today I go to Lowes to get the lumber and assorted pcs. Well I got home and could not find the directions to make the correct cuts. I went on line thinking I would be able to just down load what I had done before. No such luck so I went back to Lowes trying to find the plans. Well as I walked away from the store I looked down and there were my plans with many road track had run over them. So here I am again asking ho can I download these plans. Bye the way I like your picture with the bottle of Grand Mornier. Its it ready a hard project?
The beauty of this style of unit, with the handles, allows it to be portable and yet, with using half-inch plywood it is not super-heavy. On my 2nd Kreg project for a Saw Caddy, I utilized this Kreg 4 Jig Storage Unit, and oh, what a pleasure! The unit weighs approximately 16 lbs, and you can easily move it around, yet it is stable enough to support your wood pieces. And for taller wood pieces, you can place your Storage Unit on the floor! Your workshop can be anywhere you decide to move your unit.....I like that!
A job well executed John including the photos. For what it's worth I can barely turn our P.C. on let alone use it , keep up the good work and any chance of a photo of your workspace . I am trying to encourage people to show more pic's of their shops . Oh did you enjoy the Brandy?
Thank you, Michael Evans, for your comment. This was my very first woodworking project in over 'half a century', so I'm not an expert. But I am glad for Kreg, because it allows me to have an 'Ace up my sleeve' with utilizing their products. My mind works well with pictures, so I thought I would take as many photos as possible to share my project experience and, perhaps, allow folks in our Kreg Community to benefit from some of my adaptations to the original Kreg plan. I'm not a PC expert, so it took me forever to post these 64 photos, and they are out of sequence. But I am glad you appreciate my efforts, thank you! 'H'

I just picked up my new Kreg Mobile Project Center Item #KWS1000.
Wow! I set it up in my basement and it is great addition to my Kreg items. I was viewing a video where a review on this fine product was being made, which prompts…
