Wooton Desk

Most of the major casework and panels were made with a Kreg jig. Great strength, and easy assembly.

This is absolutely a work/of art. I tie my own fishing flies and always wanted to build something similar to that.
It is fantastic!!!!
Is there anyway you could share the plans with me? I would be the most grateful fellow in this world.

Mike, I don't think we'll ever stop admiring your fantastic work!  If it is still possible, I would love to have the plans or whatever notes you would share. Thanks!  folsom@jimfolsom.com

I am overwhelmed by all the great comments on my project .

Anyone who would like me to send you what drawings and sketches I have for this project can email me at tranecentravac@yahoo.com.   These are not full scale drawings, but they are what I used to build it.  Remember that they are free, and you get what you pay for :)   Mike Thompson

Outstanding.  I have been looking for something like this for my fly tying.  I would love to have whatever info/photos you have of the construction , if you would be wiling to share them.  You probably will need to post them as I think many people will want them.  I wish woodworking magazines would publish unique furniture like this instead of the same old craftsmen bookcase/mirror/table/chair/etc. ad infinitum. Thanks so much for sharing. cirievans@hotmail.com.

Mike, Great job with this desk. You have a finish project to be very proud of. You can certainly tell a lot of effort went into every detail.

Mike: Definitely a work of art. You are a very talented craftsman, keep up the woodworking. Makes me jealous to have one. What are the overall measurements? Did you build this for a computer or just as a regular desk? If you could, please send me the photos with the overall dimensions and any notes. Thanks.  e-mail: popztoolz@yahoo.com William G.
