Nice!! I like the bevel on the edges. Draws the eye to the inset drawers.

I love it!!! I wish I was that good...may be one day. Where did you get that unbelievable hardware (drawer pulls)???

Hi Roy,

Thank you for your comment! I'm very proud of this piece!

For the veneer I used paperbacked 4'x8 plain cut veneer. It is thin but no thinner than

regular veneer. Adhesive used for the veneer was regular contact cement.

The drawer fronts are made of 3/4" MDF and veneered with same material used on the box. The drawer fronts are the original walnut color from the veneer, I just stained the box in a darker tone to have some contrast. For the dark stain I used Transtint dye (Dark Walnut) mixed with denatured alcohol and applied with spraygun. Topcoat used on the interior and exterior was General Finishes SATIN High Performance Polyurethane Water Based also sprayed.

Regards,

Luis

Hi, Luis. That's a beautiful dresser you made. Great workmanship and finishing. A couple of questions: What did you use for walnut veneer? It looks like it's very thin. What adhesive did you use to apply it? Also, did you use walnut plywood for the drawer fronts, or are they ordinary plywood faced with veneer like the sides and top?

Thanks. Roy.
