Kreg Owners' Community

Hey!

What happened to the long thread (80 to 90 posts as I recall) about Kreg's decision to discontinue the front-lever K3 jig and revert to the back-lever K4 style?

Every post I read (except KregRep's) was strongly against this change. Too strongly for management perhaps?

It appears to have been censored out of existence!

What happened to the concept of "discussion"?

What lawsuit was that?  I hadn't heard about that being the reason they discontinued the K3.

I really do want to get another one or two, but I don't need all of the extras, just the K3 body and the drill guide.

Kreg was cited for patent infringement so they had to discontinue the K3 style while the lawyers discussed things.  They must have worked it out because they are now selling it again.  Hopefully they will sell the K3 alone, and in kits.
