I presently have a GMC 10 " table saw. (yeah its old),  They don't even make parts for it anymore. I am interested in a new one, however would like one that has at least 26" rip capability. Don't have a lot to spend on a high end model. A recommendations? Present

one works but I don't have a fence for it and well a new fence system cost as much as a new table saw.

I did a lot of research before I bought my table saw, like every night for two months, watching you tube, and reading forum reviews. I ended up getting the ridgid R4512. I love it. Mobile base with ease, 30" rip to right with fence, 4" dust collection, and on board storage for blades, tools, and fence. Best part - $550.00 with lifetime service. I did have a small snag putting it together, the front rail had a ding in it causing it to be crooked, but Home Depot exchanged it out of another box. I use the saw everyday with no issues, plenty of power and it can be hooked up 110v or 220v. Very quiet, my wet vac makes more noise. Hope this helps, even if you get a different saw.

Well Charlie it sounds like you need a table saw. I now that some of the lunch box table saw look good about right now but if you don’t have a big shop to work in they are nice and the price ant bad ether .

But thank for a min what about a contractor ‘s saw if you do a lot of wood working for example I own a Porta-cable 10’’ contractor’s table saw it has a 2 hp motor 31’ reap fence and a mobile base and I have thrown every thing at this saw for the past 7 years and I use a lot of Oak in my shop and I cut a lot of ¼’’ panels as well and I payed $ 600 but it was worth the money. Good luck on your next table saw.

Yes, David is right, the porter cable is an awesome saw, to bad they don't make it anymore. I wanted it or the Ridgid, it's discontinued.

Thanks Jon Ziverts I dont now it was discontinued. But Grizzly has GO732 contractor style saw.

it has a 1 1/2 hp motor , 25 1/4'' x 40'' w and its only $ 650.00.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
