Hi KJOC!
Just got back from the Oregon Coast, Arch Cape region. What a great place to relax and reconnect with family. To all who live in that area and are apart of the KJOC Forum, you are very blessed with your region of the USA.
Looking for some idea for storage in my garage.
I have an area that is 48" wide x 69" tall and 16" deep.
This project will be a marriage saver.
Look forward to the KJOC feedback.

Melton,
With the area given, I'd look into a simple approach---
that could be made from 2x4 stock and 1'' dowels.
2x4x 4ft stock affixed to the wall, vertically---
1'' dowels inserted into drilled holes in the 2x stock, horizontally.
Locate (4) of the 2x4's on 16'' centers---4 reqd for 48'' width.
Fasten the 2x stock to the wall studs with 3-1/2'' screws, on 16'' centers.
Drill 1'' dia thru holes in the 2x stock---
with a spacing of 4'' apart, starting 12'' up from the bottom, on each 2x4 upright members.
Make the dowels 12'' long.
(TIP: make a 1/32'' saw kerf, 1-3/4'', centered in one end of the dowel. Insert the dowel into the drilled hole, with a twisting motion, so it results in a tight fit).
Radius (1/8'') on the opp end of the dowel.
Reason for making a numerous quantity of holes for the dowels, so as to make for vertical adjustments,
to facilitate the various lengths of skis and boards.
This design approach will have an open front for easy access to get the skis and boards in and out.
(NOTE: a ''boxed-in'' design, may hinder easy access).
I'd install a shelf along the bottom, 12'' deep x 48'' long, 12'' up from the floor.
The bottom of the skis and boards to rest on the shelf.
Add gussets to support the shelf. Make the gussets from 3/4'' PW---12'' high x 12'' deep---
secure gussets to the 2x stock and shelf, with screws.
Finish: to suit---stain and poly coat or paint.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
