Being as i am new to this site and this system, I am currently starting several projects using Eastern Red Cedar. While it is harder than pine, it is softer than most hardwoods. Which screw would be best for these projects? Some will be indoor and some outdoor. Looking forward to using this but as in most of my projects i research best possible way to do before starting. Thanks guys/gals

Tim,  I just built a glider  out of Cedar and used coarse  blue - kote , you can also use stainless !!  I also plug and sand all my pocket holes , have a great day, JIM !!!

Thanks.. gotta get a drill press to make the plugs, unless i can find them for Cedar.. I have found them for Western but not Eastern.. Thanks for your assistance. Think i will go with Stainless.
