Hi guys,

I very new to wood working and I'm building an entertainment cabinet.  It is going 96 in long by 30 in high.  To make building it easier I'm going to build two 4 foot cabinets they screw them together(I have figure out the best way to do that yet either).  My question is should I build one 8 foot face frame or two 4 foot face frames.   My thoughts is if I build one face frame the piece will look like one(which is what I'm going for). Thanks for any help you can offer.

How many openings, just the two for the two cabinets or are you going to divide it futher. I don't build the things for a living or anything but, to me, 4 ft is plenty big enough to try to keep everything square and aligned. I'm sure there are some tricks I don't know about though.
I'm kind of confused what you are saying.  Each cabinet will have one divider so there will be 2 opening in each cabinet.  I plan on making each cabinet without with out the top then connect one 8 foot top.   Making it look more like one unit.  Then my thoughts was to make one big face frame.  How does that sound?
One face frame, four openings, right? Sounds ok to me.
