Just joined after receiving the K4 Master Jig system from my folks for my birthday last month. Haven't used it yet, but looking forward to build some shelving for our new home. I'm a fledgling minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and do some woodworking in whatever spare time I have. Most recently I have spent a lot of time with some turning projects, but would like to start doing more furniture building and would like delve into upholstery. We will see. Its good to be part of this group and I look forward to getting ideas from you guys.

Hey Newby in Gastonia... I'm a newby in Lincolnton.  I got the same Jig you have a month ago.  I used it to make some shelving for my daughter's room.  It turned out pretty good (only pretty good because I was learning as I went along how to really use this jig).  Next I'd like to make some a system for my master closet... we'll see.  haha.   You'll really like it once you get used to it.  A hint I found was that if you are using for example 3/4" material, don't quite set up the drill bit for 3/4".  Set it up for a little shy of 3/4".  The reason was that on some sample pieces, it allowed the screw to poke through the good side when I adjusted it for 3/4" exactly.  So play with it a little.  But it is nice...
