OK, not very exciting and I've made other things out of wood before, but this is my first cabinet since I discovered the Kreg Jig. I was given 4 brand new kitchen cabinet doors and decided to build cabinets for my garage/workshop. The case was made from the 3/4" Melinite left over from the 2x4 Kreg work bench project.

Not bad at all for first adventure in cabinets,Why did you not pocket the interior instead of exterior
That's a good looking cabinet and to be honest you could construct kitchen cabinets that way as well, on the sides that you see just contact cement a piece of 1/4 in. ply to conceal the screws. I scew my upper shelf/lower shelf and back into dadoes on mine and on the sides that you see I simply use the contact cement and a 1/4 in. piece of ply. Great job!
I figured it didn't matter much on a garage cabinet, but I liked the idea of a clean looking inside. And besides, this was all about just building one to see if I could do it and how much trouble it would be rather than a thing of beauty. But this also brings up a question I've had about this. If I went from the inside the tip of the screw would be very close to the edge of the piece screwed into and I'm wondering if there is any difference in the strength of the joint because of this?

I would say not really on faceframes. There's nothing structural there, just a cap over plywood.
I was thinking more of the case where you have a right-angle joint. Putting the screw on the inside means the screw is pointing towards the edge of the attached piece whereas if you put the screw on the outside the screw points inward towards the center of the attached piece. I should try and draw a picture of what I'm trying to convey I guess.

I follow what you're saying now. You're probably better off from the outside as you did it.
Nice looking cabinet job. I'm a newbie and I'm looking thru all the projects just to get ideas and pick
information.
what I do with my face frames is run a dado in them at 18mm, which is plywood size now and after they're cut to size they snap right on. The only thing special that has to be done is where the top and bottom intersect the faceframe you have to mill that portion out so the vertical pieces will fit. It works extremely well and if the dado is tight fitting there's no need for clamps either.
