Hi there.
I have the K5 and need to buy the Micro Drill Guide System for it. My question is: Do I need to bu the whole kit with the drill? Or is just the Drill Guide enough, in case the drill bit of the standard K5 is the same diameter?

PJ,
The Micro-Drill Jig uses a smaller dia drill bit.
Hello PJ,
Thank you for your Kreg Jig® K5 purchase, and welcome to the wonderful and rewarding hobby of woodworking and Kreg Joinery!
The Kreg Jig® K5 that you purchased comes with a standard 3/8"-diameter Kreg drill bit. This will create standard-size pocket holes, designed for material that is 1/2" to 1&1/2"-thick. The Micro-Pocket™ Drill Guide will help you create more compact pocket holes in the same Kreg Joinery applications. It is designed to work with 1/2"-stock and narrow stock, down to 1"-wide.
If you decide to purchase the Micro-Pocket™ Drill Guide Kit, it comes with the Kreg Micro-Pocket™ Drill-Guide Block, a Kreg Micro-Pocket™ drill bit, stop collar, Allen wrench, sample Kreg pocket-hole screws, and Owner's Manual. You can view it on our website: https://www.kregtool.com/store/c22/kreg-jigreg-accessories/p60/micr....
