Lost my hole

When I first got my jig it gave me deep pocket holes enough to clamp my 90 ph clamp now there is no hole at all and my clamp won't grip - any ideas???

Hi Dale. Which Kreg Jig are you using? Have you checked the jig settings and the position of the stop collar on the bit? Id first make sure that they are set to match the thickness of the material you are using. If they are set correctly and the bit is undamaged, there isn't really anything that could cause it to be drilling too shallow.

I've done all that, that was my first thought it's like the drill isn't drilling deep enough??? I am using the master system.

I'll take a photo of the drill bit tomorrow and maybe you could tell me if it's broken ?

Take a photo of you jig setup and material, as well, if possible. We'll see if we can get it figured out!

Looks like we've got it. In the last photo I see that your drill bit is set with the tip of the bit aligned with the 3/4" mark. You need to align the stepped part of the bit with the material thickness mark, as shown in the photo below. That will take care of the problem. Thanks for sending the photos.
