Hi All
Just got myself a new Metabo mitre saw, kitted it out with a new Freud Pro blade as well as "pimped up" my bench with LED lighting so I can find stuff! I have 22 LED daylight tubes in my fittings in the garage so there is more than enough light but the shadows under the bench get me, so I decided to use all of the samples of LED strips that were given to me by one of our suppliers and fit them to the bench on flat ally bar, the bar dissipates the heat from the strips and they stay on the smooth surface instead of peeling off wood as they don't stick well to that, a 12V 10A power supply feeds the lights and when the bench is unplugged everything is off. The Metabo came with a Laser as well as an LED lamp, so guess where I got the thought of using all those reels of LEDS I had lying around!
The Metabo is brilliant and the Freud Pro blade cuts Ally, steel and wood (I cut through a nail yesterday, never even knew it) If you want a lifetime blade, the Freud Pro is it, I use my mitre saw for a lot of stuff and my table saw for, well, not so accurate cutting. Looking forward to some more projects now that summer is here, will keep everyone posted

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
