Hello, Kreg friends,

I have bought the 1/4 " shelf pin jig, and want to buy the 5mm just to have both, (but particularly because they can be connected together and it saves time, moving and re-clamping the jig.    

It says on the box that it is "compatible with the 5 mm bit (sold separately)."  What am in missing, here??   How can a 5 mm bit work, when the hole guides are pre-made and they are 1/4".  1/4 is slightly bigger, so it seems that the 5mm bit would wobble.  

I am going to get the second jig regardless, but really curious - Kreg rep-  how is it compatible - what do i need to do, if a person just bought the bit separately??   Cheers,  Loren.   Woodworking enthusiast.

The 5mm bit includes a small step at the end for compatibility and to prevent wobbling.
