I am currently looking at The Kreg precision mitre guage for my table saw. Found one at Menards for 139.00. Checked out Kregs web site. It seems very impressive. Has anyone purchased one, and is it as good as they say? Thanks for any info.

I have the mitre guage and don't know how I did without it before. Very accurate, well built, slides smoothly. Money well spent! I also have the bandsaw fence, K-3 jig and a few other things from Kreg and have nothing but good things to say about any of them. Kreg's customer support is also outstanding.
A few week ago I had one in my hands, at the local Rockler. Never made it to the register. So I came very close to buying it BUT did not. So Now I have been look at others that are available like the Incra line or the one that is currently on the top of my list it the Osborne EB-3 Miter Gauge .
Thanks to the reply Geg. I too went to our local Woodcraft store with the intnsions of buying the Kreg brand. Once I got there, they had various models set up on the saws. Although the Kreg is a fine piece of equipment, I decided on the Incra brand. I just felt that it was one step above the Kreg. Took it to my shop, set it up, and made one small calibration. From
that point on, it was dead accurate at every stop. Ajusting the wheels on the mitre T-slot on the saw was a very simple step, which took about 60 seconds, and there is absolutely NO SLOP or (wiggle). Great piece of equipment ! I did not buy
the fence that goes with it. I just attached a piece of 3/4" X 3" oak board cut at 18". That works fine for what I do.
