Kreg Owners' Community

After a lot of consideration I bought a k5ms and after watching the videos set about using it.
I'm very happy with the product BUT am having constant issues with the depth adjuster slipping... the spring loaded pin that is upset to hold the block in place slips... not just once but most of the time...
I checked to see if there was saw dust etc obstructing the pin holes causing incomplete lockup but that's not the case...
I find the block will slip after the pin is seated and I start drilling hole..
What's wrong... is it me?
