Hi all,

thanks for the add.  As a youngster I did a lot of wood working over the years.  I lost my way and am now just getting back intowoodworking in my spare time.  Will be looking for advice as I build up me tools.  I do not have a lot of Kreg gear but like what I see and would like to start off with a Router table system and like the sound of the Kreg unit.  Any advice in this area would be great what ever I get will need a riser and a good quality 1/2” router.  I am currently doing a couple of restoration jobs including a two door vegetable storage cupboard and a double bed.  Looking forward to being an active member of the group.

Hi there!

My name is Ed, and I am from Sydney, Australia. Entered the woodworking world 2 years ago, and since then - flying ahead on a full steam! Kreg jig was one of the first tools I bought, and now I own quite a few of these blue devices, including the project centre, K5 and HD jigs, Rip-cut, square cut, plug cutter and quite a few clamps.

First project was a king size bed insert, made mainly with 2x4s and Kreg HD screws... Turned out to be strong enough to carry over 200 lb/sq ft :). Then - chairs, TV stand... As I said, full steam ahead.

Looking forward for more!

Thanks for the add to the group. New hobby for me but the K4 jig system got me really excited about working with wood again. Looking for project ideas and ways/tools to hone my skills.

Kreg Foreman

I have built many kitchens and finally decided to buy the Foreman, because my latest kitchen consisted of 28 cabinets and I was over my hand hurting from all the drilling, moving the clamp etc., it seemed like a smart choice.
