Hi all. Any suggestions on where to buy decent hardware for the best price? I'm looking for adjustable feet to go under my washer and dryer stands so they need to hold some weight.
Thanks in advance!

you ought to be able to find them at most Ace hardware stores

Woodcraft, Rockler, Lee Valley and VanDyke restorers ring a bell. Good luck!

Jeff,

The following comments are offered:

1.  Consider heavy duty adjustable feet for the washer---factor in the total weight, which includes the machine when it is filled with water.

When using a threaded stem, 3/8" diameter will support more weight than 5/16".

Avoid using 1/4" under the washer.

5/16" okay for dryer.

2.  Large diameter foot---1-1/2" better than 1-1/4".   Select a foot material, (rubber-like material), that is slip resistant.

(hard plastic will allow the machine to slide around when the agitator and spin cycle are functioning).

3.  Select an adjustable foot that features a "hex"---use an adjustable wrench to make leveling adjustments.

Check-out appliance dealers---some stock replacement/service parts, that you can adapt.
