Would you measure 1/4 up on bottom cutter all though center cutter may not be 1/4?
I don't have setup block.
My suggestion is to start by making "try" cuts on scrap of the same thickness of material you will ultimately use. When you get things lined up make a set up block. You can get some high density polyetheylene in the form of a cutting board (the cheapest I have found is at Sam's Club) if you're concerned about thickness of the board all you have to do is make the cut even if it does not incorporate the whole cross section of the bit, just as long as you have enough to re-set the bit when next you use it...an added bonus is to use the cutting board to make miter runners on any "jig" you want to make.

Regards, Donny
I think I'll try that with cookie sheets. For my first cut I'll measure 3/8 up from table top to the center of the middle cutter.
I have three questions since my last reply. Since the cookie sheets are only 1/2 inch will it work on 3/4 normal stock? Is this because its developed on 3/4 to start? Instruction say if you don't have a setup block align to center of the bit am I correct to think its the center of the second cutter?
