I was wondering if you can join 2 panels of 3/4 inch plywood.  If you can, how far apart would you place the screws.  The joint I am thinking of would not have any stress placed on it.  Thanks,

Lynn

I would put them 6 inches apart maximum. if the joint will not have any stress on it should be strong enough.

Thanks Richard.  Do you think there would be any 'bulging' in the plywood where the screws penetrate the plywood edge.  I would think there wouldn't be any in a 3/4 inch plywood board but what do you think?  Lynn
