Anyone made a dado jig before fixed or adjustable? Thinking of having a bash at one ,will come in handy .Its one of those jobs never got round too .What would be the best materials to use ?Also what would be the most convenient and handy size in terms of length ?I was thinking about 24" long .Ideas gratefully received.

Rita,

Thanks for your reply.

Happy to hear that you find the info beneficial.

Thanks ken ,kinda went along the lines you suggested, and I must say works pretty good. Also made a thin rip jig and going to make my own leg taper jig ,as a project coming up for tapered legs .Mine already tapered ha .

Hi rita hope you had a good Christmas ,these jigs make my life simple no hard work involved . Youtube has some step by step videos on making various jigs .Did suggest too ,that the kreg website could put a few of these how to videos together for jigs and the like .Keep makin sawdust rita.

Mick,

I don't think it's necessary for Kreg to make a list of available videos.

Videos change daily, and someone would have to keep up with it.

A very time consuming task.

Anyone that has a computor can to a search on the www.
