Custom Mirror Frames

I am a mirror designer in Illinois.  I manufacture antique mirror glass and mirror reproductions.  About 4 years ago I was introduced to the Kreg Jig when doing an install of a custom mirror.  I was so impressed with the carpenters use of the jig that I offered a days labor just to show me how to use it.  Since that day I have built 100's of custom mirror frames and my clients love them and I thank Kreg for being the rock that my foundation is built on!  I have since bought a number of tools and find myself buying anything new Kreg puts out as everything they put out is of such quality!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
