Finally installed a 4" dust collection system in my shop. I'd like to find a 4" collection port for my Kreg router table (PRS1045) fence. Anybody know where I can find such an animal or one that can be modified to fit?

Thanks!

Hi all....

Has anyone have experience using a Kreg circular saw track guide system for ripping long boards??? The boards would be 5 to 6 inches wide by 6 feet, I have a Bosch 4100 portable table saw. But ripping boards that length with a 45% angle isn't always as precise as needed sometimes.

If anyone has experience with the track guide system and a similar use I'd be interested in your experiences.

Thank you

Yesterday, I received an email wanting my opinion on Kreg adding high end workbenches to their product line and wanted to know before I clicked the link if this is a legitimate survey or some phishing scam. Here's the link I was provided (https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6658690/6774505246ac). Can anyone let me know if this is safe, please?

Has anyone used one of the Kreg Universal Stand configurations as the base for a miter saw workstation with fold down wings? I scrolled through the pics in the community and all I saw were using a DIY base cabinet. I have an extra Kreg router table stand base that I want to make use of. Thanks

I have been using the Automaxx 6" clamp for two plus years, and recently the clamp is impossible to close the handles to secure the work and my jig. I cannot close the handles no matter how much pressure I can exert. I open the clamp to max to reset the clamp and continue with a number of successive open and closing. Finally, I can close the handle with little pressure. However, this is a one shot deal and the next use goes back to a point where I cannot close the handle. In short, I cannot…

I have used the adjustment feature in both directions to no avail. Is there an issue with the spring inside the turn screw located inside the handle? Can this clamp be repaired, and if not, perhaps replaced. I am an amateur woodworker and this clamp has not been overused in any fashion.

Greatly appreciate any feedback and assistance to help remedy the problem.

Thanks in advance.

I'm on my third set of replacement guides. Seems like every time I mount the saw on the base, regardless of how careful I am about setting it up to the side block and front, it doesn't line up to the previous tolerance. So I have a tendency to re-position and re-cut the guide.

Wondering if anyone has come up with a way to ensure the saw gets mounted exactly the same way. Or do most folks just dedicate a saw to the base so it doesn't have a chance to change. At this point I'm…

Finally decided to acquire some of Kreg's workspace solution(s). Was planning on pairing a KWS500 with a KWS1000 (as suggested in Kreg's promotional material). However, I can not locate any businesses with KWS1000s in stock, including Kreg. Does anyone know if Kreg is still making this product?

I am having issues cutting cedar plugs, they are too loose, too short and rough. When I read the online advice and forums they suggested using a higher speed drill. I went and got a corded drill to get better speed to cut smoother plugs. I thought this would improve the quality and smoothness of the plugs, but it didn't really make that much difference. I also have a problem with the size of the plugs as they are too loose and too short. This is very new plug cutter and I cant understand why they are loose and too short. The plugs end up at least a quarter to 3/8" too short. Its hard to get the plug to stay were you put it and need it to stay as fall right into the hole, leaving a large divot that is unfilled. I hope someone can help me out.
Help with old Rip-Cut(tm)tag:kregjig.ning.com,2020-10-04:2900167:Topic:10123012020-10-04T16:51:24.893ZSeanhttps://kregjig.ning.com/profile/Sean

Does it fit the adaptor plate?
