Hello All - I'm looking for a plan for a puzzle caddy to replace the frail cardboard ones we've used in the past...large main area and two smaller sorting/storing trays. If anyone has such a plan or has seen one someplace, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks! RJ

I share a large shop with a friend at his house, but, for the last couple years I have hardly been there to work on anything.

I have moved a lot of the duplicate tools into my carport and have been working there.

Does anyone else work in the carport?

How do you keep things organized?

I have everything on wheels including the workbench.

Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks for your input!

Hi All

Just got myself a new Metabo mitre saw, kitted it out with a new Freud Pro blade as well as "pimped up" my bench with LED lighting so I can find stuff! I have 22 LED daylight tubes in my fittings in the garage so there is more than enough light but the shadows under the bench get me, so I decided to use all of the samples of LED strips that were given to me by one of our suppliers and fit them to the bench on flat ally bar, the bar dissipates the heat from the strips…

I have 22 LED daylight tubes in my fittings in the garage so there is more than enough light but the shadows under the bench get me, so I decided to use all of the samples of LED strips that were given to me by one of our suppliers and fit them to the bench on flat ally bar, the bar dissipates the heat from the strips and they stay on the smooth surface instead of peeling off wood as they don't stick well to that, a 12V 10A power supply feeds the lights and when the bench is unplugged everything is off. The Metabo came with a Laser as well as an LED lamp, so guess where I got the thought of using all those reels of LEDS I had lying around!

The Metabo is brilliant and the Freud Pro blade cuts Ally, steel and wood (I cut through a nail yesterday, never even knew it) If you want a lifetime blade, the Freud Pro is it, I use my mitre saw for a lot of stuff and my table saw for, well, not so accurate cutting. Looking forward to some more projects now that summer is here, will keep everyone posted
Ice fishing boxtag:kregjig.ning.com,2017-12-12:2900167:Topic:9319812017-12-12T16:39:08.707Zmitchhttps://kregjig.ning.com/profile/mitch800

Hey guys so I tried to figure this one out on my own and I think I am there but just want to confirm. I am having my cabinets refinished and while everything was off I wanted to upgrade to concealed self closing hinges. No big deal right? Wrong. Apparently there is a vast selection of different hinges and I need the exact type to fit my cabinet. I am having my cabinets refinished and while everything was off I wanted to upgrade to concealed self closing hinges. No big deal right? Wrong. Apparently there is a vast selection of different hinges and I need the exact type to fit my cabinet. So I now know I have face frame full overlay style cabinets so I know which type of hinge I need to get. My question is i want something that will function properly could anyone recommend a good brand or are they all about the same? Also is there anything else besides the kreg concealed hinge jig and a cordless drill that I will need to make this project go smoothly?
Thanks again,

Kreg tool, I am not pleased that you shared my email address and my name to a research group for the purpose of a study. Why did you take it upon yourself to put me into the email address pool of 20/20 research, without my prior permission? I just re-read the privacy policy, and nowhere on there does it say I will be sent survey requests, for your product (by any third parties).
