Hi All,

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and can help me,

I recently purchased the Accu-Cut XL and when I went to put the track together I noticed that one of the tracks was different to the others The alignment of the track guide was out by about (1mm) 0.03937 inch, it looks like the track extrusion is slightly different to the other track segments that I got. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to preface this post by letting you know that I am very pleased with the Kreg Precision Router Table package and Kreg's superior customer support but after using it for three years, I have come up with a few fixes and improvements I would like to share.

1) Reference Photos A, B, C, & D:

Having purchased this router table with the current new design fence, I have found that the Micro Adjust mechanism is just too sloppy to make precision adjusts when setting up a Lock Miter bit so I machined my own solution using ¾" UHMW plastic and using a micro adjust assembly from a Woodhaven track that I had purchased some time ago.

Photo A shows it installed on the table and fence. It mounts to the fence with a ¼ - 20 bolt using the predrilled hole in the track as show in Photo D.

Photos B and C show the device from different angles. Photo C shows the raised part which fits into and rides in the track of the fence rail. It keeps the UHMW block from skewing as the fence is moved back and forth.

Reference Photo E:

I also purchased the Kreg switch for the router table but found out that it was designed to mount on the right hand corner of the table and it was oriented 90º opposite from what I am used to with my other power tools. I am right handed and I wanted to be able to quickly slap the paddle down with my left hand while maintaining control of the work piece with my right hand. So, I used a piece of aluminum flat stock to fashion my own preferred mounting. This allowed my to also mount a few needed tools on the front of the table (Photo F).

Reference Photo G:

This is a mount I made for the automatic vacuum switch. I needed to keep it accessable because I frequently unplug the vacuum for use elsewhere.

Reference Photo H:

The dust port for this fence is a very poor design. The slightest weight from the vacuum hose pops the dust port off the fence. To alleviate this problem, I made a very thin strip of wood to jam between the catches on the dust port and the fence. That strip of wood prevents those catches from disengaging.
90 gallon aquarium standtag:kregjig.ning.com,2018-06-11:2900167:Topic:9586032018-06-11T15:35:52.032ZGlenn Gilberthttps://kregjig.ning.com/profile/GlennGilbert

Hi all,

I am new here, live in Columbia, SC and would like to have some instructions on how to build an aquarium stand for my 90 gallon aquarium. The size of the tank is 48.5 x 18.5 x 25.375. I would like the stand to be 32" tall. I would also like to put a canopy on top of the aquarium.

I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I have almost completed construction of the Shop Vacuum Cart (I have attached a link to the plans which are available on the Kreg website. Shop%20Vacuum%20Cart%20with%20Built%20In%20Storage.pdf) I am very impressed with how the cart is proceeding.
I have almost completed construction of the Shop Vacuum Cart (I have attached a link to the plans which are available on the Kreg website. Shop%20Vacuum%20Cart%20with%20Built%20In%20Storage.pdf) I am very impressed with how the cart is proceeding. I am convinced it is going to be a big asset to my shop and, at my age (69), an asset to my back.

I have decided to build a second cart to carry my air compressor. I have attached a photograph of the compressor.

I do have a question and need input. There is a relief valve on the front of the compressor. I have included a photograph which shows the location of the valve. As you can see, when opened the valve evacuates the high pressure air in the tank downward. Since I live in Corpus Christi, located on the Gulf Coast, the air always has a significant amount of moisture. This means if the compressor were sitting on the cart the relief valve, when opened, would blow high pressure air and water downward onto the plywood bottom of the cart. I am concerned that over time this would lead to degradation of the plywood.

The workaround I have come up with is to use a hole saw to cut an opening below the relief valve. Do you believe this would be an adequate workaround? If not, do you have a better idea?
What's On Your Wish List?tag:kregjig.ning.com,2017-11-14:2900167:Topic:9275032017-11-14T21:35:17.746ZKregRephttps://kregjig.ning.com/profile/KregRep

I have used the Kreg jig for a few years but lately when attaching a face frame to a cabinet, I am having the side of the cabinet crack when screwing the two pieces together. This is usually when I am using hardwood (red oak). I am dealing with 3/4 thick material and using the Kreg screws for hardwoods. any ideas on what I might be doing differently? I cannot seem to figure this one out.

thanks

Hi all. I see numerous great pictures of Kreg workbenches that are on Pineterest, but when you click to get the plans...Kreg Owner's Community can never find the pages. Do they remove them, hoping you will buy a table from them instead of building your own? I'll pay for the plans, I just don't understand why they are no where to be found. If you google "Kreg Workbench + Clamping Station" you will see these tables of speaking of. Anyway know where I can find the plans?…
